These goods are heavy and not easy to move around,so they have to transport by heavy duty low bed semi trailer. The heavy duty low bed semi trailer is designed with very low center of gravity.thus even loading heavy machinery, the trailer also can be very stable when running. Besides, the semi trailer connect to the tractor using king pin, there are two type king pin, 2.0inch and 3.5inch, it’s depend on the type of fifth wheel on tractor. What’s more, before designing the trailer, we need to know some information of the tractor, such as the height of fifth wheel, the front turning radius and rear turning radius. Thus we can design the dimensions of gooseneck, to make sure the gooseneck of the trailer won’t touch tractor when it turns.
